Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy Yessh, born 17 October 1992 in India, is a film actress. Keerthy has mainly appeared in Tamil and Telugu film, as well as some appearances in Malayalam. She received the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her role in the role of actress Savitri. Additionally, she was awarded a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar is the daughter filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar, and actress Menaka G. Suresh. She started her acting career in the mid 2000s. She played her debut main role as a lead in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began her very first Malayalam projects, and then began working in Tamil at the same time. The film she released was her debut, A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam, in 2015. The film was starring Vikram Prbhu. The film did not turn out to be a success at the box-office. To fit in larger projects, she was forced to pull out of films she had started working on. These comprised Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and as Kavalaivendam by Deekay. Within a brief period she also worked together with Sivakarthikeyan for Rajini Murugan, Remo and also played the lead on Prabhu Sool's Thodari along with Dhanush. The film that she played in was her Telugu debut had been scheduled as Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. The movie's release was delayed in 2015 and is now expected to take place after September of 2020. The film will be released under an entirely different name, Janakitho Nenu. In the year 2016 Nenu Sailaja which starred Ram Pothineni, was her debut. In January of 2017, Keerthy appeared in Bairavaa in a film starring actor Vijay and produced by Bharathan. She was in Tamil film Paambhu satai along with Telugu film Nenu Local both in 2017.
