Suzanne Pleshette (born June 25 1944) was an American actor, voice-over artist and writer. Through her career that lasted for nearly five decades she had amassed hundreds of credits on her list of credits. Pleshette is a New York native who began her acting career on stage. Her career progressed to her transition to film. Her most acclaimed films include "Rome Adventure," "The Birds,' 'Fate Is the Hunter', 'If it's Tuesday This Must Be Belgium The Birds,' and Support Your Local Gunfighter. Also, she had a broad range of roles on TV and in movies for television. The actress was awarded four Emmy Awards nominations and was also nominated twice for Golden Globe Awards. Pleshette was considered to win the Laurel Award twice and won it in 1963, when she starred in 'The Birds. Pleshette died in 2008, and she was later given an honorary Star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
