Ariana Richards

Ariana Clarice Richards, an American actor and sculptor, is a painter. Her most well-known work is her performance as Lex Murphy in the blockbuster film Jurassic Park. Richards received several Young Artist Awards for her acting as a child but after turning an adult, she's focused primarily on her art career. In a TV commercial, she appeared as a young ballerina, aged seven. Ariana's Italian roots trace back from her maternal lineage through Carlo Crivelli who was a Renaissance artist. Her family also includes the boxer John L. Sullivan. The American Artist magazine hosted the National Professional Oil Painting Competition in October 2005. It was her first self-portrait. Ariana's self portrait for the first time was a oil painting she did of a scene from the hit 1993 film Jurassic Park, wherein she is holding a bowl filled with jello, and a raptor lurks behind her. The 16th of April 2012 was when she launched her YouTube channel named GalleryAriana, to where she uploaded her art. Her appearances have also been featured in several other films, including Tremors, Spaced Invaders, Locked Up A Mother's Rage and Switched At Birth. Ariana is a rider on a horse named Kindred spirit.
